Why is no matching power adapter supplied with heavy-duty pan-tilt upon shipment? How to select the corresponding power adapter? The heavy-duty pan-tilt serves as a rotary carrier platform for system integration. Its total system power consumption falls into two categories: A. Maximum power consumption of the pan-tilt when no electric power is output to external payload devices; B. Power consumption of payloads mounted on the pan-tilt that draw power via the unit’s conductive slip ring.
Since the power draw for Category B varies drastically across different integration projects with no universal specification, power adapters are not included as standard factory supply. System integrators shall source adapters according to on-site practical requirements. Refer to the specifications below for selection guidelines: Output Power of Power Adapter = (Max. Power of Heavy-Duty Pan-Tilt + Max. Power of Planned Integrated Payload) × 1.2 Note: The 20% margin is reserved for design redundancy and can be customized according to project requirements |
