Definition & Description of Special Extended Commands for Absolute Angle Control under Pelco_D Pan-Tilt ProtocolPelco_D Absolute Angle Control Command, its format is as follows:
pan command: FF ADD 00 4B DATA1 DATA2 SUM, function: Drive the pan to a specified absolute position at default speed. Tilt Command: FF ADD 00 4D DATA1 DATA2 SUM Function: Move the tilt to a specified absolute vertical position at default speed.
● Calculation Method for Pan Absolute Angle Control Command Format: FF ADD 00 4B DATA1 DATA2 SUM Where: DATA1 <<8)+DATA2=Angle×100 Example : The pan-tilt’s current address is 1 with the current pan angle of 100°, and it is required to rotate to the target position of 10°. Command: FF 01 00 4B 03 E8 37, corresponding target pan angle is 10°. Calculation: 10×100=1000=(0x03?8)+0xE8(0x03 stands for DATA1, 0xE8 stands for DATA2).
● Calculation Method for Tilt Absolute Angle Control Command Format: FF ADD 00 4D DATA1 DATA2 SUM Where the angle is negative, (DATA1<<8) + DATA2=angle*100; If the angle is positive, (DATA1<<8) + DATA2=36000-angle*100。
Example : The pan-tilt is set to address 1 with a current tilt angle of 10°, and needs to move to the target tilt position of -10°. Command: FF 01 00 4D 03 E8 39,Where the target angle is negative, equal to -10°. Calculation: 10*100=1000=(0x03<<8)+0xE8 [0x03 stands for DATA1,0xE8 stands for DATA2]
